Is the parts list right for my system?
It follows the system you pick. The parts list uses the bay lengths, widths and parts ScaFix holds for that system, so the same house gives a different list in HAKI, Layher and Jamax. It is a planning aid: check the list against the manufacturer's assembly instructions before you order or build.
Is the scaffold approved once ScaFix has drawn it?
No. ScaFix is a planning tool that draws the scaffold and counts the parts. A parts list is not a structural calculation or an assembly approval, and ScaFix does not replace the manufacturer's assembly instructions. Follow those instructions and your country's rules for work at height when the scaffold is built and used.
Does the trial week renew?
Yes, as Pro weekly. The first week costs €0.98 and gives full Pro. Then it renews every week at €9.98 until you cancel. Cancel in the first week and access ends at once, with nothing more charged; cancel later and you keep Pro to the end of the week you have paid for.
Does it work on my phone on site?
Yes. Use the iPhone app, or ScaFix in the browser on an Android phone, a tablet, a Mac or a PC; there is no Google Play app yet. You use one account everywhere, signed in on one device at a time. Enter the walls, check the scaffold in 3D and open the parts list on site.
What is the difference between Basic and Pro?
Basic gives you 3D, the full parts list, walls from a PDF drawing, the PDF report and your logo. Pro adds round buildings and silos, rounded corners, hanging scaffolds, building from the map, the tie plan, quotes from your own price book and colleagues as extra users. Basic costs €79.90 a year and Pro €149.90 a year.
Can my whole team use ScaFix?
Yes. With a yearly Pro plan you add colleagues by e-mail on the web. Each extra user costs €59.90 a year, gets an invitation link and their own login, and has 12 months from the day you add them. You can swap who sits on a seat whenever you like.
Can I send the parts list to the rental yard?
Yes. With Basic and Pro you send the parts list as a PDF report: the full material list with your own logo, which the rental yard or the customer can open without ScaFix. Basic Light (€39.90 a year) shows the full parts list in the web app and the iPhone app, without a PDF report or export.
Do I need to be able to draw?
No. Enter the length and height of each wall, and add gables where the house has them. With Basic and Pro you can also take the walls from a PDF drawing by tracing over it. ScaFix then lays out the bays, builds the scaffold in 3D and makes the parts list for the system you picked.
What if my system is not on the list?
Write to support@scafix.app with the manufacturer, the system name and, if you have it, a link to the assembly instructions. ScaFix has 108 systems from 56 manufacturers today. Do not order from another system's list in the meantime: bay lengths, widths and parts differ between systems, even between similar ones.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Basic Light, Basic and Pro renew until you cancel, and you keep access to the end of the year or month you have paid for; Basic and Pro are sold monthly too. Pro weekly works the same after its first week. Cancel in that first week and access ends at once, with nothing more charged.
